Kurt Blumenröder
President and CEO
Kurt Blumenröder has been IAV GmbH President and CEO since January 2005 and controls the operative business in this capacity.
Kurt Blumenröder was managing director of various Daimler AG engineering companies in Germany and the Czech Republic from 1998 through 2004. Prior to this, he gathered experience as product manager in the E-Class and engines/transmissions divisions at Mercedes-Benz where he had already worked as advanced planning engineer. He also belonged to the scientific research team at Daimler-Benz.
Blumenröder graduated in mechanical and production engineering from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences after training as a machine fitter at Daimler-Benz in Mannheim.
Michael Schubert
President and CFO
Michael Schubert has been IAV GmbH President and CFO since July 2001. This position involves managing the group's operating and testing facilities as well as responsibility on the administrative side for purchasing & sales, finances, controlling, IT and marketing.
Prior to this, Schubert had gathered experience in this field as manager of commercial activities at the IAV Group's Berlin Development Center. He was head of engineering at the Development Center in Gifhorn, the company's largest operation, from 1998 through 2000 before leaving Berlin as head of project management. Gathering wide-ranging experience in charge of various projects, he was key account manager at IAV for Spanish-based Seat from 1991 through 1994.
Michael Schubert began his career as a test engineer after graduating in engineering from Berlin University of Technology.
Dr. Rüdiger Goyk
President and CHRO
Dr. Rüdiger Goyk has been President and CHRO at the IAV GmbH since August 2009. In his capacity as Chief Human Resources Officer, he is responsible for personnel matters as well as occupational health and safety. He was Human Resources Vice President at the group's Berlin operation from January 2009.
Dr. Goyk worked at the Theo Müller GmbH & Co KG group from 1999 through 2008 where he was initially responsible for Central HR Development, later on becoming manager of human resources at two activities. Prior to this, he was involved in research and consultancy projects over several years for various companies working on HR and organizational development issues.
Majoring in occupational and engineering psychology, Dr. Goyk graduated in psychology from Berlin's Humboldt University. He was awarded a doctor's degree at Kassel University in 1999 for his thesis on job design and organizational development. He also studied business management at the distance-teaching University of Hagen and is qualified in Systemic Organizational Development.
