Rights
The German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz – BDSG) provides the individual concerned with inalienable rights. These include the right to receive information on data relating or capable of being related to their person and to demand that such data be corrected, blocked or erased. In the event that we collect, process or use your personal data, we shall notify you accordingly. Notification will not be given if you have gained knowledge hereof in any other way. You may, of course, object at any time to your data being used. The German Teleservices Data Protection Act (Teledienstdatenschutzgesetz – TDDSG) furthermore grants you the right to withdraw, without specifying reasons, any Internet utilisation data that are collected and processed. This shall also be possible even if you have already given consent to such data being used.
Collection, processing and use of personal data
The German Federal Data Protection Act permits the collection, processing and use of personal data only to the extent necessary, for the closely defined intended purpose and in observance of individuals' interests warranting protection. Overriding legislation may nonetheless provide for other stipulations in this regard. It is not our policy to pass on personal data to third parties. This also applies to the group's subsidiaries.
Job applications
The data entered into a job application mask will be stored by IAV GmbH and managed internally by the Personnel Department. If this process results in no further association between the applicant and IAV GmbH, we shall undertake to erase these details after six months at the latest.
Newsletter and e-mail
Personal data entered by you in relation to requesting a newsletter or writing an e-mail will be stored by IAV GmbH. Any objection on your part to such data being stored will result in your data being erased. Notification of your objection by e-mail will suffice. We furthermore point out that any information submitted in non-encrypted form is not protected from the attention of third parties.
