The test facility will encompass state of the art test and measurement equipment to fulfill the ever increasing test requirements for modern powertrain systems. As a result of IAV's strong involvement in production hybrid development programs and the trend to increase powertrain hybridization, the company decided to include a test bench, which is capable of testing complete hybrid systems (engine, electric motor and transmission as one unit) including battery systems. With the expansion, IAV looks forward to further growth in the US and to work with customers on the most exciting powertrain development programs.
