Given the demand for higher quality, shorter development times and reduced cost, simulation methods are becoming an ever more important part of the development process.

Simulation is taking the place of physical prototypes on a rapidly increasing scale. This is why IAV is also active in this field. Simulation programs are used for analyzing the dynamics of hydraulic and mechanical systems.


The following services are available in this context:    

• One-dimensional flow computation
• Modular modeling
• Two-dimensional modeling of mechanical elements

IAV uses the AmeSim (Imagine) software package for this purpose.
