Method of investigating internal nozzle contours
Nozzle casting permits the optical analysis of internal nozzle contours. The nozzle must be removed for this purpose. The nozzle body is filled with a permanently elastic plastic. Once this has set, the cast can be removed. This cast can then be analyzed optically under a microscope.Advantages
