Safety and ride comfort are the be-all and end-all of every vehicle class. This is where modern vehicle electronics are indispensable. Active safety systems, such as ABS and ESP, are part of the standard line-up today. Driver assistance systems, such as parking assistants and reversing cameras, are on the way. Even now, IAV engineers are working ambitiously on new and innovative systems.

Our service spectrum covers system and electronics specifications, simulation, hardware and software development as well as electrical system development and system testing for the whole vehicle. We construct complete test vehicles, too. And we are also the people to contact when it comes to preparing, conducting and evaluating system tests for engineering developments at all levels.

For IAV, the use of information technologies is an important part of contemporary vehicle development. This is why we generate vehicle components that set milestones at the point of interaction between driver and vehicle: innovative Human/Machine Interfaces (HMI).
