The management‘s declared objective is to continue extending IAV’s range of expertise in automotive engineering and keep the company on a profitable course of growth.

Kurt Blumenröder
President and CEO

Kurt Blumenröder has been IAV President and CEO since January 2005 and in this function controls business operations.

His career path has taken him to many different executive positions at the Daimler Group as product manager, advanced planning engineer and as a scientific research assistant.

Kurt Blumenröder graduated in mechanical and production engineering at Karlsruhe University of Technology.

 


 

Michael Schubert
President and CFO

Michael Schubert has been Chief Financial Officer at IAV since July 2001. His responsibilities include managing development centers and testing facilities worldwide as well as heading the central commercial divisions and IT.

Michael Schubert is also the company’s Chief Compliance Officer. His career path has taken him to many different executive positions with international responsibility at IAV.

Michael Schubert graduated in engineering at Berlin University of Technology.

 


 

Kai-Stefan Linnenkohl 
President and CHRO

Kai-Stefan Linnenkohl has been Labor Relations Director and a member of the IAV Management Board since December 2015. His responsibility covers Human Resources together with healthcare, occupational safety, initial and advanced vocational training together with social welfare and the company retirement scheme.

Mr Linnenkohl joined IAV in April 2015 as head of the Z-PW division in Berlin, after working for more than 20 years in various HR positions at Volkswagen AG, including among others HR Research and Development.

Kai-Stefan Linnenkohl graduated in Law at Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich.
