We’re on the go in the cold, in the heat, and at high altitudes

As a Calibration Engineer for Gasoline Engines, Simon sees to it that the hardware and software in an automobile mesh smoothly with one another. He also ensures that driving pleasure and dynamics go hand in hand with safety and reduced emissions.

In this video, he is conducting a cold-weather test in the Alps. He is on the road with a colleague in a camouflaged prototype vehicle testing out new functions.

Simon studied automotive engineering. Following an internship and a student job, he has been employed at IAV in Berlin since 2010.
