We started working on driver assist systems back in 1995. We develop and define the specifications for new functions, design the interfaces between the sub-systems and provide support throughout the development process to the start of production. Our experts develop algorithms for new functions and evaluate new surround sensor systems for their suitability in volume production.
Today, the focus is on evaluating various surround sensors – radar, lidar, ultrasonic and video cameras which are increasingly delivering stereo signals. In future, the emphasis will be on further enhancing the way the operation of these electronic assistants while also reducing the cost, energy consumption, size and weight of surround sensors.
Validation and system testing
We can provide comprehensive expertise in testing and validating highly connected driver assist systems based on surround sensing. We pay particular attention to using efficient test design methods, test processes and test tools that are geared precisely to the specific test objective in hand. HiL simulators providing flexible configuration are available for major or repetitive testing work. All activities are accompanied by comprehensive requirement, test, validation and problem management so as to ensure traceability and transparency from requirement to test result.
