IAV employees run for a good cause
3990 km Run for UNICEF

Early June 2020: Running events and company runs have been canceled or rescheduled. Our IAV teams can’t meet this summer at the start and finish lines throughout Germany and cheer each other on.
So we organized our own running event.
All across Germany, we laced up our sneakers, alone or in twos (with the necessary social distancing), and tracked our kilometers as a virtual team.
In one weekend at the beginning of June, 323 colleagues ran their own routes for a total of 3990 km. Five colleagues covered a marathon distance in one day, and another colleague took home the IAV trophy by running 56 kilometers.
IAV will donate one euro per kilometer to UNICEF and then rounded up for a total donation of 5000 euros.
