Aid for Ukrainian people

IAV supports Ukraine aid with 150,000 euros. This is the sum donated by IAV GmbH and its subsidiary Consulting4Drive to the organizations “Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft” and “Aktion Deutschland Hilft”.
“We condemn Putin’s war of aggression on Ukraine and on the Ukrainian people in the strongest possible terms,” reads a statement from IAV’s management and General Works Council. “Our thoughts are with those who have suffered, the civilian victims and the many people on the run who have lost their homes.”
Since the Russian attack on Ukraine began on February 24, some three million people have fled, mainly women and children, according to UN figures. Aid organizations are bringing help to the people affected by the war in Ukraine, providing support at the borders and taking care of refugees on the ground in Germany.
“Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft” is an alliance of Bread for the World, Christoffel Blind Mission, DAHW, Kindernothilfe, medico international, Misereor, Plan International, terre des hommes and Welthungerhilfe. German Doctors and Oxfam are associate members.
“Aktion Deutschland Hilft“ is an association of 23 German aid organizations, including action medeor, ADRA, Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund, AWO International, CARE Deutschland, Habitat for Humanity, HELP – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe, Malteser Hilfsdienst, World Vision Deutschland, Der Paritätische (active beyond: arche Nova, Bundesverband Rettungshunde, Freunde der Erziehungskunst Rudolf Steiners, Hammer Forum, Handicap International, Help Age Deutschland, Kinderverband Global-Care, LandsAid, SODI and Terra Tech).
