IAV demonstrates connected highly automated driving vehicle at Microsoft Envision

29.03.2016 // IAV’s connected highly automated driving (CHAD) vehicle will be on display at Microsoft Envision, from April 4-6 in New Orleans.

This conference explores how successful leaders and experts of today are reinventing productivity and changing their processes to become the businesses of tomorrow, gathering leaders from both the business and technology industries. On Tuesday, April 5, Benedikt Schonlau from IAV will host an Industry Track session at 2.30 p.m. to share the technical details of the CHAD vehicle and research development, including the business needs, technical challenges and explanations, with an opportunity for a Q&A with IAV and Microsoft.

“As industry trends like automated driving and V2X communication continue to grow, IAV is focused on meeting both the technological and business needs of our customers to truly excel in these fields,” said Karsten Schulze, Senior vice president Active Safety and Driver Assistance at IAV. “By combining our technological capabilities with Microsoft’s mobility and productivity expertise, opportunities for future vehicle developments are endless.”

IAV’s presence at Microsoft Envision showcases the company’s support of Microsoft, as well as IAV’s increasing capability to integrate complex mobility and productivity solutions, such as Cloud software to Cortana Analytics, into its CHAD vehicle.
