Nerd alert in Braunschweig

Over 20 programmers, 10 tasks, 2 exciting days: last weekend computer science students from universities all across Germany gathered at the IAV Security Hackathon. Their goal: to solve ten challenging capture the flag tasks in the area of automotive security.
We were especially pleased to be able to welcome the 2018 winner, Patrick Reich, as one of our student workers to IAV and that he supervised this year’s hackers as an IAV mentor.
It was not just the teams’ expert knowledge that was impressive, but also their team spirit and ambition. The winning teams received gift certificates totaling 2000 euros. Thank you to all the participants for an inspiring event. We’re already looking forward to the next hackathon!
