Safety first – IAV cancels in-person appearance at CES

Berlin. In view of the rapid spread of the Omikron variant of the corona virus, IAV has cancelled its in-person participation in the CES 2022 technology fair in Las Vegas from 5 to 8 January. Instead, the company will present its contents of the exhibition via digital channels. With this decision, the IAV management wants to protect the health of employees and customers.
CES attracts up to 200,000 visitors to Las Vegas every year. Although a lower participation is expected for 2022, large IT, software and automotive companies have already cancelled their appearance with reference to the rising numbers of infections with the Omikron variant.
IAV wants to communicate digitally on the subject of cybersecurity for vehicles and other software-based solutions during CES and seek contact with customers online.
