IAV was at the 21st Aachen Colloquium on Vehicle and Engine Technology with three exhibits: A highly integrated drive unit for electric vehicles, an innovative gasoline engine with cylinder activation and an IAV-developed HiL environment attracted the trade public at the automotive congress straight to the global engineering company‘s booth.
In numerous talks, visitors got IAV to present its new drive technologies and eco-friendly solutions.
Particular interest was shown in the I2+2 engine that represents a new concept capable of reducing engine friction torque by 22 percent in the engine speed range relevant to consumption. This cuts consumption of the I2+2 engine in the NEDC by 13.7 percent, equating to 19 grams of CO2 per kilometer.
The well attended colloquium provided a platform for engaging in lively discussion, fostering existing customer relations and making new business contacts – from both the passenger car and the commercial-vehicle segment.
