IAV Launches Compliance System

February 7, 2013 // Berlin. As one of the leading providers of engineering services to the automotive industry, IAV now operates a compliance system that was implemented at the beginning of the year. This sees the company take a proactive stance in assuming responsibility towards society, staff, business partners and clients.

The compliance system has been introduced with the aim of bringing the company even greater success and helping it to behave with integrity. The system assists staff and business partners in their actions, gives direction and provides information on statutory, voluntary and even self-imposed obligations.

“This active step on IAV’s part in introducing a tailor-made compliance system is consistent with our approach to working together as partners and lays the foundation for the success of future cooperation,” emphasizes Michael Schubert, President, CFO and Chief Compliance Officer at IAV. “The big corporations already have systems of this type in place and now mid-sized companies are called upon to follow suit as well,” Schubert says.

Compliance is a key issue in many sectors. By introducing its compliance system, IAV is proactively protecting the company, its staff and third parties from damage and harm. It shows that the company is eager to meet its responsibility towards society, customers, business partners and staff and sets a benchmark for exemplary corporate conduct.

At the core of the compliance system is IAV’s Code of Conduct that defines the framework for the company, staff and business partners. The provisions are based on existing rules and regulations already embedded in the company. Bringing them together in an all-embracing, clearly structured compliance system is an integral component of IAV’s company management strategy.
