We are currently looking for an Engineer to work with experts in the industry to take designs from concept through production. This includes developing the embedded software that controls and optimizes hardware for functional domains in the powertrain and vehicle such as driver assistance systems, battery management systems, motor controllers, body electronics systems, vehicle charging systems, etc. The Embedded Software Engineer will support internal projects and work as a member of a team representing IAV on projects with external customers covering a wide range of applications. This also includes considering implementing requirements from a technical safety concept depending on the provided hardware platform.

    The Embedded Software Engineer will develop low-level software as well as application layer software for automotive systems by using model-based software development approaches as well as creating hand-written code. This includes:

    Position Description Summary:

    This position provides technical, program, and staff leadership for the work team. Level of knowledge allows for unsupervised project tasks. Flexibility is a must and travel may be required.

     

    Responsibilities for the position are as follows:

    • Assist in the planning and execution of engineering activities assigned to the team.
    • Work on all phases or aspects of projects including marketing support, technical studies, preparation of specifications, technical plans, testing, data analysis and validation
