IAV Brings Integrated Vehicle Safety and Connectivity to Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference

Northville, Mich., July 07, 2016 – At Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference, held July 10-14 in Toronto, IAV Automotive Engineering, Inc., a leading engineering services firm, will showcase the product of its collaboration with technology powerhouse, Microsoft Corp. IAV’s connected highly automated driving (CHAD) vehicle, which incorporates Microsoft Azure and Windows 10 technologies, will be displayed at this prestigious conference as part of the company’s continued work with Microsoft.

Bursting with cutting-edge product innovations and hundreds of sessions with the latest in industry advances, the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference brings together more than 15,000 executives across industries from around the globe for a week of networking and learning.

Applying a forward-thinking V2X connectivity approach, IAV’s CHAD vehicle has the ability to connect with Microsoft technologies that gather and organize data from the vehicle’s surroundings. Using the pre-configured solutions of in Microsoft’s Azure IoT Suite and advanced analytics of the Cortana Intelligence Suite, the Microsoft-powered cloud solution gathers information from connected vehicles, traffic light sensors and wearable devices worn by pedestrians to increase vehicle safety.
