Finance Expert – Accounting / General Ledger
The PL-AC department is looking for a Finance Expert – Accounting / General Ledger. Please find the details of the offer below:
Scope of Responsibilities
- Active support in the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Responsibility for selected balance sheet items and comprehensive accounting support for selected German subsidiaries
- Analysis of issues relevant for financial reporting and independent management of projects aimed at improving financial processes
- Participation in the optimization of the Record-to-Report process and implementation of effective solutions
- Support during year-end audits and tax inspections
- Continuous analysis of applicable regulations, organizational and strategic requirements and their effective implementation
- Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, cooperation with other departments of the company
Requirements
- Completed education as a certified balance sheet accountant / accountant or university degree in accounting/finance
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting
- Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and experience in preparing financial statements
- Confident handling of SAP FI and knowledge of the MM module and others
- Very good knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills
- Ability to critically assess one’s own work
- Fluent German (C1) and communicative English (B1)
