The buildings we use in Chemnitz were the birthplace for Auto Union’s legendary Silver Arrow. The region has been an industrial development hotspot for more than 100 years with a special focus on mobility and mechanical engineering. Today one of the location’s outstanding areas of expertise is the whole complex field of information technology. IAV Chemnitz/Stollberg is one of IAV’s largest development centers, working closely with the automotive and supplier industry as well as the region’s first-rate universities and research institutions.
