Many test and trial tasks on engine or component test benches require multiple, freely programmable injection or ignition events. Series control units prove to be unsuitable for this task: This is because they are bound to specific angle systems, can only perform one or a few injections per operating cycle, require a specific ECU environment, cannot control the desired injectors or do not run on every angle sensor.
IAV KIVU (formerly IAV FI2RE) provides flexible control of all crank angle synchronous components. It offers any multiple injection and a wide range of trigger options for solenoid valve and piezo injectors as well as ignition modules and ignition coils. Rail pressure pumps, camshaft actuators, throttle valves, etc. can also be controlled. The flexible angle system can be used with different sensors and signal forms.
