IAV has presented its sustainability report for 2025. Under the theme “Code for Change”, the 2025 sustainability report highlights how IAV lives up to its responsibilities in concrete terms, manages progress in a measurable way, and firmly anchors sustainability in its operational activities. With “Code for Change”, IAV describes sustainability as a dual logic: as a software-driven transformation and as an ethos that combines innovation and responsibility.
For IAV, sustainability is part of its corporate responsibility and supports its technological and economic viability for the future. The Sustainability Report 2025 shows how IAV anchors sustainability in the company and continuously advances it.
One focus is on the global perspective: IAV is more internationally positioned than ever before. The report focuses on the growing network and cooperation across locations, including the further development of IAV India as an international center of excellence.
The introduction of energy management is a major step forward. The report describes the progress made in setting up and further developing this certified management system in accordance with ISO 50001. Standardized procedures, clearly defined processes, and continuous monitoring create the basis for making energy flows more transparent and systematically identifying efficiency potential.
In addition, the report uses selected examples to show how technological solutions can support efficient energy use – including Swarm IQ Charge & as a solution for intelligent load and charging management.
We also increased energy efficiency at IAV GmbH. We were able to reduce our Scope 1 & 2 CO₂ emissions by 13% compared to the base year 2022. We have thus achieved our set goal – and demonstrate that environmentally and economically conscious actions can go hand in hand.
