Focus on customers and technology: IAV appoints CSO and CTO

IAV is adapting to changing needs in the automotive industry and is creating two new positions: Chief Sales & Projects Officer (CSO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). On July 1, 2024, Carsten Rinka, previously Head of Sales at IAV, will become CSO. Sebastian Sinning, currently Head of Vehicle Solutions & Automated Driving at IAV, will assume the role of CTO. Both will report directly to CEO Jörg Astalosch.

As CSO, Carsten Rinka will be in charge of IAV’s global sales activities and global project and product management. CTO Sebastian Sinning is responsible for the company’s entire technical service portfolio worldwide and will drive forward innovative solutions.

IAV and the entire automotive industry are undergoing profound change. New market and customer-oriented solutions and a strong team are essential for success.
