Fields of action
In order to consistently implement our sustainability strategy, we have derived four key areas of action. These areas serve as strategic guidelines for our corporate activities.
Responsibility for our business
IAV cultivates long-term, trusting business relationships. All employees work across divisions in order to secure the position position of our customers in the market in the future. IAV is working intensively on increasing the efficiency of combustion engines and alternative drive systems such as electric and hydrogen drives. In doing so, we consider responsibility the entire life cycle.
Ratings & Rankings
EcoVadis assesses the sustainability performance of companies in global value chains. We are constantly working on the improvement and have reached Gold status.
Responsibility for our employees
As an employer, IAV bears responsibility for its employees. We maintain a fair working environment and focus on training for our employees as well as diversity and equal opportunities in our workforce.

Climate protection is both an incentive and an opportunity for us. An incentive in that we want to continuously reduce the CO2 emissions of our business processes,
and an opportunity by developing technologies and concepts for future-proof mobility.

Initiatives
As a company, we take our social responsibility seriously and are involved in various social initiatives – as a partner of nationwide campaigns and supporter of local charitable organizations.
Tent Partnership for Refugees
IAV is involved with a mentoring program at the Tent Partnership for Refugees in order to facilitate refugees by entering the German labor market.

Diverse perspectives are the basis for IAV's innovative strength and competitiveness as a tech solution provider. By signing the “Diversity Charter” in October 2021, we are committed to an appreciative and unprejudiced working environment.
