You only create your profile once for jobs in Germany. Multiple applications can then be sent out easily. Specifically, clicking on “Apply” takes you to the IAV application portal. Simply fill out the profile and send the application. Find more jobs in the job search, add a few job-specific information by clicking on “Apply” in the IAV application portal and send the application.

Log in to the IAV application portal with your profile. There you can adjust and supplement your details. You can upload the required application documents directly in the Job Applications section and then update them. Unfortunately, we cannot process documents that reach us by e-mail for you.

An unsolicited application is not possible at IAV. Please apply specifically for a job offer. There is a specific need for personnel and the chances of success for your application are therefore higher.

If you are under the age of 18, you need the consent of your legal guardian to use the application portal and thus to participate in our application processes. Use our sample of the necessary declaration of consent for this purpose. In the declaration of consent, the first and last names of the legal guardians must be indicated in addition to your name. Please upload the consent form signed by your legal guardian to the user account/candidate profile. Without the declaration of consent, we cannot take your application into account. If, when reviewing your application documents, we find that no consent form from the legal guardian has been uploaded to your user account/candidate profile, we will notify you of this by e-mail. If you do not provide us with the signed declaration of consent of your legal guardians, your data will be deleted.

You can choose which of the locations listed above you want to perform this position. Please indicate your preference when applying in the application portal. If the locations also indicate “Hybrid”, you can work on the move up to 80% of your work hours per week.

Yes, we offer basic and pre-internship places. However, the places are very limited. Therefore, apply as early as possible. Very important: With your application, also send an excerpt from your study regulations, which confirms the internship as a mandatory component.

Whether you can complete a student internship at IAV depends on various factors, including the current availability of internship positions and the requirements of the respective department. It is advisable to contact IAV Human Resources directly (karriere@iav.de) and ask about the possibilities. As a rule, IAV offers internships for students to provide them with insights into the world of work and, in particular, into the areas of vehicle development and technology. Be prepared to submit your CV and a cover letter detailing your motivation and areas of interest. Good luck with your request.

In order to apply for a voluntary or mandatory internship at IAV, certain requirements must be met. First, you need to be enrolled as a student. This means that you must be enrolled at a university or college and have an active degree. This condition ensures that the internship is embedded in an academic framework and that you can apply what you have learned in a practical environment.

In addition, it is necessary that you have a residence in Germany. There are several reasons for this: On the one hand, it facilitates logistical and legal processes, and on the other, it ensures that you are near the IAV locations during your internship and can therefore work on site on a daily basis.

Summarized are the two main requirements for an application for an internship at IAV:

• You must be a student:enrolled in.
• You must be resident in Germany.

If you meet these requirements, nothing stands in the way of your application and you can look forward to an exciting and educational time at IAV.

Anyone wishing to work abroad should be willing to work there for at least two years. Good English skills are also required.

Your application letter and CV should be written in English. In addition, professionally translated final and school certificates are very helpful for the colleagues of our international daughters in order to better assess your qualifications and professional experience.
