Cybersecurity

The enormous increase in the networking of systems gives rise to new risks and dangers. The focus is on protecting sensitive data and the integrity of digital systems. We efficiently identify attack vectors and neutralize them. With our technical understanding, we develop security systems that are flexible enough to adapt to new threats such as quantum computing.

Solutions

  • Firmware Security Module (FSM): provides a flexible and effective way to retrofit existing systems with the necessary security mechanisms to ensure protection throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle.
  • IAV quantumSAR: open-source solution that integrates updatable encryption algorithms to respond to the threat of quantum computing.
  • Security by design and risk analysis: risks are minimized as early as the development phase and tailored security functions are developed for optimum cybersecurity.
  • Automotive Cybersecurity Defense Center (ACDC): Monitoring of vehicles in the field and identification of security vulnerabilities.

Functional Safety

We guarantee functional safety for the powertrain, chassis and ADAS/AD right through to the overall system. We analyze the effects of technology-related weaknesses as well as systematic and accidental errors. We identify their causes and develop customized safety mechanisms at system, hardware and software level. This includes redundancies or replacement response management, which we safeguard in our own test environments.
