Challenges in electric mobility testing

Test engineers and operators of test facilities face recurring problems:

• Standard-compliant testing according to ISO 21498-2: Full compliance ties up complexity and resources that many test facilities do not have available.
• Availability of testing resources: Demand exceeds supply. Bottlenecks delay test operations and put agreed deadlines at risk.
• Safety during modifications: Every modification for a different test requirement has to be carried out safely. That takes time and is laborious to sign off.
• Reproducibility of test setups: Without an identical setup, results are not comparable. Under changing conditions that is hard to maintain.
• No time for modifications between test cases: Time pressure in test operations leaves hardly any room for modifications between test cases.

One setup for all ISO 21498-2 test cases

Our rack offers you a complete solution without any hardware modifications. The test object is connected once and runs through all test cases of the standard. Nothing is rebuilt and nothing is rewired between performance and fault tests.

Easily integrated into existing test facilities, our rack takes over the proven safety functions of IAV Auros. The rest bus simulation for the DUT is included, as is complete commissioning and DUT integration.

Thanks to the mobile application and the adoption of all automation and safety functions of the main product, our rack is flexible and versatile. The preconfigured test cases of the ISO standard can be run by simple selection.

Our automation software also enables the implementation of arbitrarily complex processes and is a fully-fledged replacement for large test benches. Benefit from flexible business models, from short-term rental to purchase.

An extensive library of drivers integrates peripheral devices such as measurement technology and conditioning systems. An automatic test report is generated after every test run. The integration of a transient recorder enables the recording of high-frequency measurement data.
