Share your fresh perspective

with our teams.

Are you enthusiastic about mobility and new technologies? Technical apprentices work with us on exciting future issues. They experience first-hand a developer’s daily work routine and how prototypes are built and tested. In a business management apprenticeship, you learn how to ensure that business processes run smoothly.

You are an important part of the team and are in contact with other apprentices. And have the best chances of being hired.

Getting started

Our apprentices are integrated into the team from the get-go. Apprenticeships and independent learning form one whole at IAV. As an employer, we benefit from fresh ideas. As an apprentice, you can anticipate a multifaceted and exciting start to your professional life.

Well supervised
You will have specialized instructors at your side during your entire apprenticeship so you can learn about work processes and company structures first-hand.

Learning by doing
Our apprentices expand on their technical expertise step-by-step and unravel their own abilities through practical experience, which is always combined with theory. An apprenticeship at IAV lasts 2.5 to 3.5 years depending on the job description. However, it can be shortened for very good performance or formal education.

Examination preparation training
In order to review and go deeper into the learning material for the final examinations or to clarify any open questions, we offer our apprentices regular training sessions to prepare for examinations. Small working groups also solidify team spirit. We offer these training sessions in addition to the vocational schooling so that you can solidify the material.
